Brewing news India: Yuksom Breweries commissioned its subsidiary, Denzong Breweries, investing Rs30 crore

Yuksom Breweries of Sikkim, owned by Hindi film star Danny Denzongpa, has invested Rs30 crore and commissioned its 100-percent subsidiary in Orissa, Denzong Breweries, India Business Insight posted on April 10. The new unit has an initial monthly capacity of 60,000 hectolitre (HL)-60,000 cases, which will be boosted to 2.6 lakh HL.

The company also plans to set up another greenfield project in Assam with initial capacity of 60,000 HL, investing Rs26-30 crore.

Yuksom Breweries has a capacity of 2.6 lakh hectolitres in Sikkim and sells popular beer brands like Heman and Hit Yuksom.
